Super Chariot (Nintendo Switch)

Super Chariot strips platforming down to one weird core idea: you and a partner (or you alone) must drag a coffin up a vertical gauntlet of obstacles. The controls are deliberately clunky - that's the point. You'll slip, slide, and argue about momentum as you navigate saw blades, moving platforms, and physics that feel deliberately obstinate. It's not a game about precision; it's about problem-solving through friction, which sounds tedious but lands as goofy fun in co-op. The campaign is mercifully short (couple hours solo), and while the level design doesn't reinvent the wheel, it's competent enough to keep you laughing at the chaos. Solo play works but feels like the consolation prize compared to couch co-op mayhem. Metacritic sits at 76, which tracks - this is charming junk food, not a landmark title. Best as a weekend palate cleanser with a friend who appreciates weird control schemes.
