Roman Rumble in Las Vegum - Asterix & Obelix XXL 2

I went in expecting a throwback brawler with some personality, and Roman Rumble delivers exactly that on a surface level. You're punching Romans across Las Vegas-themed stages as either Asterix or Obelix, with simple combos and co-op play if you've got a buddy on the same Xbox. The license carries weight - the art style leans into the comic book aesthetic, and there's a decent enough campaign to bash through without much resistance. The problem is it's a competent but unremarkable beat-em-up that asks AAA money for a niche experience. Single platform release, no online co-op that I can find, and gameplay that doesn't innovate or dig deep enough to stand on its own. If you're a hardcore Asterix fan willing to overlook middling combat design, or someone hunting retro brawlers, it might scratch an itch. For everyone else, it's a hard sell.
