ABOUT

About PlayStation gift cards

A PlayStation Network Card tops up your PSN wallet. Spend the balance on PS5 and PS4 games, add-ons, season passes and PlayStation Plus memberships in the PlayStation Store.

PSN cards are strictly region-locked, so pick the card that matches your account country. We track every denomination and compare store prices so the same top-up costs you less.

The balance lands in your PlayStation Network wallet, and from there it pays for anything the PlayStation Store sells: full game downloads, add-ons and season passes, in-game currency and PlayStation Plus. We track 492 listings for these cards across three stores, and every one of them is filed under a Global region tag, so the thing that actually decides where a card works is the currency on it, not a country name in the title. Ten currencies appear in the data, plus a card denominated in 100000 points.

Euro cards come in 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75, 80, 100, 110, 120, 150, 200 and 250. US dollar cards run 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75, 100, 120, 160 and 200. Pounds cover 10, 15, 18, 20, 25, 30, 45, 50, 70, 75, 80, 120, 150 and 200, including that unusual 18. Canadian dollars follow a similar ladder up to 250 with a 115 in the middle, while Australian dollars stop at 160 and include 110, 115, 130 and 135.

Beyond those, CHF runs from 10 to 250 and includes 35, 80 and 170. BRL spans 35 to 550, passing through 300, 350, 360, 450 and 530. ZAR climbs from 50 to 3500 and carries the near-identical pair 749 and 750. HKD reaches 1500 by way of 130, 650, 1050 and 1250, and IDR is sold at 100000, 200000, 225000, 300000, 600000, 1000000 and 1500000. Listing titles in this brand also turn up in SEK and TRY, for example 1000 SEK and 750, 1500, 2500 or 4000 TRY.

Whichever value you pick, the card currency has to match the region your PSN account was created in. A EUR code will not redeem on an account set to the United States, and a BRL code will not redeem on a British one; the store rejects it, and account region is set when the account is made rather than changed later, so check your account settings before you buy. One more thing worth knowing: once the money sits in the wallet it stays there. It spends on the PlayStation Store only, and it does not convert back to cash or move to another account.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a Polish PSN card on a German account?

No. PSN cards only work on accounts registered in the exact country the card was issued for.

Can I pay for PlayStation Plus with a PSN card?

Yes: once the balance is in your wallet you can spend it on any PlayStation Store purchase, including PS Plus.

Which region PlayStation card should I buy?

Buy the currency that matches the region your PSN account is registered to, since these listings are tagged Global and the currency is what determines compatibility. If your account is set to Canada, buy CAD; if it is set to South Africa, buy ZAR.

Is there a 10 euro PlayStation card?

Yes, 10 is the lowest EUR value we carry, and the EUR ladder continues 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75, 80, 100, 110, 120, 150, 200 and 250. USD, GBP, CAD, AUD and CHF also start at 10.

Can I use a US PlayStation gift card on a UK account?

No. A USD code will not redeem on an account registered to the United Kingdom, and the store will reject it rather than convert it. You would need a GBP card, which we carry from 10 up to 200.

What is the biggest PlayStation card you have?

It depends on the currency. The top values in the data are 3500 ZAR, 1500000 IDR, 1500 HKD, 550 BRL, 250 EUR, 250 CAD, 250 CHF, 200 USD and 200 GBP.

Can I get the money back off my PSN wallet?

No. Once redeemed, the balance stays in that PlayStation Network wallet and can only be spent on the PlayStation Store. It does not transfer to another account or convert back to money.
