RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe
A park-builder with 200 rides that feels dated even after the modernization, functional for tycoon fans but missing the charm that made the original series tick.
GamerScout Verdict
For park-building completionists only; casual simulation fans will find more engaging options elsewhere.

About RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe
I went in expecting Rollercoaster Tycoon comfort food, but Adventures Deluxe is more like reheated leftovers. The interface got a facelift and you've got 200 rides to work with across seasonal themes, which should be enough busywork to sink hours into. The core loop is still there: place rides, manage cash, keep guests happy, expand your park. If that's all you want, it delivers. The problem is everything feels generic and flat. There's no wit to the writing, the guest AI is basic, and the park-building tools lack the precision or creativity of games that have iterated on this formula in the past decade. It's competent simulation, nothing more. Play it if you're exclusively after a chill park manager with minimal friction, but don't expect the magic that made the original a genre standard.
