RWBY: Arrowfell
A compact action-adventure that lets you swap between RWBY's four leads mid-combat, each with distinct weapons and abilities. Solid fan service, uneven execution.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for RWBY fans willing to overlook uneven level design for more show-canonical story.

About RWBY: Arrowfell
I spent a few hours with Arrowfell expecting a straightforward action romp, and that's mostly what I got. You're switching between Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang in real-time, using their signature weapons and Semblances (think character-specific powers) to carve through enemy mobs. The swap mechanic itself works well enough, combat never feels static, and you're rewarded for chaining abilities across characters. The campaign slots into RWBY Volume 7's timeline, so fans get an in-canon story with voice acting and a new track from the show's composer. That said, this isn't a hidden gem. Boss fights can feel cheap, level design is rote, and the game's brevity means there's no real time to experiment with builds or strategy. It's a competent tie-in that respects the source material but doesn't do anything special with the combat engine itself. If you're deep into RWBY and just want more story, go for it. Everyone else should wait for a sale.
