About Mighty Switch Force! Hose It Down!
This is for people who like small, fiddly arcade puzzles they can clear in ten-minute chunks, and it is not for anyone hoping for another Mighty Switch Force platformer. WayForward took the series' pixel-art firefighter Patricia Wagon and dropped her into something closer to a reflex-and-planning hybrid: fires spread across multi-floor buildings, you aim the hose, you douse the spread before it reaches the civilians, and you learn which rooms to hit first so the flames do not loop back behind you. The scoring pushes you to be efficient rather than fast, which is the smart call. What works is the tight loop and the presentation, which is as sharp as anything else in this series. What disappoints is scope. There is not much variety once you have read the fire's behaviour, the stage count is modest, and it can feel more like a well-made spin-off minigame than a full release. Come for a clean, cheerful puzzle-action snack, not a main course.
