HELLDIVERS™ - Precision Expert Pack
A micro-DLC for HELLDIVERS 1 that shaves one second off your stratagem call-in time and adds a homing artillery strike. Thin value proposition unless you already live inside the base game.

About HELLDIVERS™ - Precision Expert Pack
I'll be straight with you: if you're asking whether to grab this pack before your next drop, the answer depends almost entirely on how deep you already are in HELLDIVERS 1. This is not a content expansion. It is three things in a zip tie: the Precision Expert cosmetic uniform (helmet, body armor, cape), the Precision Call-In Perk, and the Sledge Precision Artillery stratagem. That's the full list. No new weapons, no new mission types, nothing that changes how the base game flows on a broad level. The Precision Call-In Perk is the headline mechanic here. It cuts stratagem call-in time by one second, which on paper sounds minor but actually has real situational teeth. HELLDIVERS is a game where stratagems are your biggest lever on the battlefield. Each mission you pick four of them, enter their directional codes under fire, and then throw the beacon. The delay between throw and impact is where things go sideways on higher difficulties, especially when you're trying to land a strike on a fast-moving armored target or during a bug breach. Shaving that second can mean the difference between a clean kill and a wasted use. That said, community feedback is consistent on one point: the Precision Call-In Perk is noticeably weaker than the base game's Stratagem Priority perk. If you haven't fully explored the free perk options yet, you may already have access to something that outperforms this. The Sledge Precision Artillery is the more interesting piece of the pack. It fires in a tight cluster and uses homing rounds that can adjust trajectory, sharing the same targeting algorithm as the Railcannon Strike. In practice that means it behaves more reliably against mobile high-value targets than a standard artillery barrage would. It's a useful complement to an aggressive loadout focused on taking down armored enemies quickly, and it earns its slot on higher difficulty planets. Whether it earns a slot over everything else you've unlocked through normal progression is the real question, and that answer varies by playstyle. The cosmetic uniform is purely aesthetic and will matter to you exactly as much as cosmetics matter to you, which is to say: your call. The pack lands as a very low-cost add-on for players who want marginal optimisation of their stratagem timing or who are completionists working through all the DLC. It is a worse value purchase for anyone still in the early game, where the free perk options and planet-unlocked stratagems will carry you far enough that the pack's functional contents feel redundant. If you own the Dive Harder Edition or are bundling DLC, this is fine filler. Bought standalone as your first or only DLC, it's a hard sell compared to packs that include primary weapons.
