Cladun Returns: This Is Sengoku!
A 2017 roguelike that mixes feudal Japan with PvP dungeons, but the netcode and player base feel like they've been dead for years.
GamerScout Verdict
Skip unless you have a dedicated co-op crew; the online infrastructure is too ghosted for solo play.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Cladun Returns: This Is Sengoku!
I went in expecting a fast-paced action-RPG with some meat on the bones. Instead, Cladun Returns is a roguelike crawler where you build parties, tackle procedural dungeons, and theoretically compete in PvP. The core loop is solid enough: loot, level up, push deeper. Controller support is there, and the game doesn't demand a ridiculous PC. But here's the problem: the online infrastructure feels abandoned. PvP matchmaking is glacial, co-op lobbies struggle to fill, and the playerbase has evaporated since launch. Single-player mode exists, but the game's designed around multiplayer progression. It's serviceable if you have friends to farm with, utterly lonely otherwise. The real killer is that Cladun Returns launched during a brutal period for niche JRPGs on Steam. It didn't catch fire, the servers never got proper attention, and now you're left with a game that technically has online features but zero one to play with. If you're hunting for solo roguelike content, there are better options that don't depend on ghost towns.
