A Hive Tyrant walked into my Devastator crossfire and came apart into pieces that stayed on the ground, which is the entire pitch here. This is a cosmetic gore toggle for Dawn of War II - Retribution, and it will not install or run without Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War II (Master Collection). What it adds is limited to visual violence: heavier blood decals, dismemberment and gib effects on infantry kills, nothing touching unit stats, cover rules, campaign missions or the multiplayer meta. The store listing carries the exact effect breakdown. Grab it if you are completing the Retribution set or you want the tabletop's messier side rendered onscreen. Everyone optimising build orders can skip it entirely.
