About Terraforming Mars - Venus Next
Two generations from the end, I was chasing the Venuphile award with a floater engine and lost by a point. That was Venus Next, an expansion pack that requires the base Terraforming Mars to run at all. It bolts a third global parameter onto the board (the Venus scale), plus new corporations like Aphrodite and Celestic, a set of Venus-tagged cards, floaters as a new resource, and the Hoverlord milestone. It also stretches games longer and adds a track some opponents will simply ignore. For players who already have a regular Terraforming Mars group and want one more axis of scoring, it's an easy add. Solo-only newcomers can skip it.
