Splatoon 2 (Nintendo Switch) key
Nintendo's ink-based shooter trades bullets for paint and rewards positioning over twitch reflexes, making it accessible to players who'd never touch a traditional FPS.
GamerScout Verdict
A clever twist on the shooter formula that values positioning and paint over reflexes; best for Switch owners seeking something genuinely different from standard FPS fare.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About Splatoon 2 (Nintendo Switch) key
Splatoon 2 is a third-person shooter where you play as an ink-slinging squid, painting the map rather than eliminating opponents. The core mode, Turf War, is pure objective focus: cover more territory than the other team in three minutes. Single-player campaign offers solid level design and boss battles, but the real draw is online multiplayer, where four game modes rotate through the matchmaking queue. The paint mechanics fundamentally change how you approach combat - you can hide in your own ink, refill your tank by swimming through it, and your weapon choice matters way more than raw aim. It's genuinely beginner-friendly without feeling dumbed down. The downsides are real though: matchmaking can feel loose, gear balance shifts with patches, and if online multiplayer dies (it's 2017, so the playerbase is thin now), you're left with a short campaign and local modes. But for what it does - making a shooter that prioritizes map control and team coordination over kill-death ratios - Splatoon 2 nails it. If you own a Switch and want something that plays nothing like Call of Duty, this still holds up.
