GamerScout Verdict
Best for co-op groups after accessible chaos, not demanding players expecting AAA polish.

About PERISH
I went in expecting another forgettable indie shooter, but PERISH surprised me with how much fun four players can have running-and-gunning through its chaotic set pieces. The co-op focus is genuine - weapons feel meaty, enemy spawns scale with your squad size, and there's a real sense of momentum when you're all pushing forward together. Levels have enough verticality and destructible cover to keep encounters from feeling like corridor monotony. That said, the game doesn't quite nail the polish you'd want at full price. Solo play feels hollow, the difficulty curve has rough patches, and some mechanics (revives, loadouts) could use more depth. It's exactly what it is: a B-tier co-op romp built on a solid arcade foundation, best enjoyed with friends who'll tolerate occasional jank for a few hours of straightforward blasting.
