About King Oddball
Angry Birds taught a generation to fling objects at collapsing structures, but King Oddball keeps only the trajectory and throws out the sprawl. There is no map of hundreds of levels padded with variants here. You are a giant stone head suspended over a battlefield, swinging three boulders on your tongue, and you release when the arc feels right. Destroy every tank and soldier, and any boulder that survives the wreckage swings back for another go. That single rule turns each stage into a small greedy calculation: take the safe two-hit clear, or gamble on the ricochet that keeps your ammo alive. 10tons built this with the unhurried confidence of a studio that knows exactly how long its idea stays interesting. The tone is deadpan and faintly cruel, the ragdolls flail, the diamonds and grenades arrive as variations rather than gimmicks. Where it disappoints is texture. The art is functional rather than beautiful, and the audio does almost nothing to build a mood. Come for the physics, not the atmosphere. It is a game for controller-in-hand evenings, not a place to get lost in.
