About Xenoraid
I went in expecting another maximalist bullet-hell shooter, but Xenoraid keeps things lean. You pilot one of several unlockable ships through short, manageable stages, swapping between different weapon types mid-fight to adapt to enemy patterns. The progression system matters more than twitch reflexes: you earn upgrades between runs that genuinely change how you approach encounters, and leveling up your pilots feels rewarding enough to keep chasing one more run. The catch is scope. There's no elaborate story, no wild visual spectacle, and the stage variety is modest. If you want classic arcade sensibilities with light RPG seasoning, it scratches that itch. If you need constant novelty or deep systems, you'll want something else.
