Gunslugs
A gloriously chaotic top-down shooter that knows exactly how long to stay fun before wearing out its welcome.
GamerScout Verdict
A tight arcade romp that proves procedural chaos works best with a friend holding the other controller.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Gunslugs
I've spent a few hours with Gunslugs and kept coming back, which tells you something about how well Orangepixel nailed the core loop. You're blasting through procedurally generated levels as one of several unlockable heroes, dodging explosions and collecting absurd weapons like chicken guns while the Black Duck Army throws waves of enemies at you. It's pure arcade energy with permadeath stakes that make each run feel lightweight and urgent rather than punishing. The split-screen co-op is where this shines brightest - having a friend nearby means the chaos becomes genuinely fun instead of frantic. Solo it can feel thin after a few runs, and the visuals, while chunky and charming, aren't doing anything you haven't seen in 1000 other pixel-art action games. But for a 2015 indie title that respects your time and delivers exactly what it promises, Gunslugs is a solid cabinet experience begging for a couch partner.
