Flockers

Flockers is Team17's A-to-B puzzle game that trades Worms' ballistic chaos for sheepherding logistics. You're given a flock and a level, then tasked with routing them safely through hazards using environmental manipulation and trap placement. The core loop is straightforward, but the level design rewards lateral thinking: you're often not pathfinding optimally so much as constructing a Rube Goldberg solution that actually works. The game doesn't pretend to be deep strategy, and that's honest. What it does offer is consistent puzzle variety across 50 levels, a functional level editor, and Workshop support for community creations. The dark humour lands more often than not. If you approach this as a cerebral puzzle game rather than a strategy sim, you'll find solid level-by-level challenge without narrative bloat. Metacritic sits at 66, which feels fair for a game that executes its niche idea competently without breaking new ground.
