There is no gameplay attached to this package. No new modes, no weapons, no balance changes. If you came here expecting the Ninja outfit to change your time-to-kill or give you any edge rolling through air vents and bouncing off walls, it won't. It's a wardrobe expansion, nothing else. That context matters when you consider what Worms Rumble actually is. It is a real-time 32-player 2D arena shooter where standing still gets you killed and movement tech - rolling, wall-jumping, jetpack escapes, grappling hook repositions - is your actual survival toolkit. The base game strips out the destructible terrain and turn-based pacing the franchise built its reputation on, and drops you into a fast-moving cross-platform free-for-all across Deathmatch, Last Squad Standing and Last Worm Standing modes. The TTK is aggressive - health pools deplete fast, and levelled-up weapons held by experienced players will end you in seconds if you walk into a bad angle. That skill gap is real and the matchmaking did not always protect newcomers at launch. This pack does nothing about any of that. Where cosmetics do matter in Worms Rumble is in the progression loop. The XP and level system feeds exclusively into cosmetic unlocks - weapon colour palettes, outfits, accessories. That is the retention mechanic Team17 built, and buying this pack essentially skips a chunk of the grind for specific looks. If the Ninja or Superhero aesthetic fits how you play, or you just want the Cherry Blossom weapon skin on your Shotgun while you spam doorways, then the pack is doing its job at a low asking price. The emotes also have cross-platform visibility, which means opponents on PS4 and PS5 will see your taunts after you Sheep Launcher them off the map. The honest framing is this: Worms Rumble is a game worth a few hours of frantic fun, particularly in squad modes with coordinated friends. The base game has server history that was rough at launch and a thin content count that critics pointed out repeatedly - three maps and three modes was never a generous foundation. Whether that has been patched up meaningfully since release is worth checking before you commit to anything. This DLC assumes you are already sold on the base game and just want more outfit variety.
