Darksiders 3
A scrappier, tighter Darksiders that trades open sprawl for dodge-and-counter duels. Combat-first players will click with it fast; anyone chasing War's power fantasy may not.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth it for players who want a tight, counter-heavy action game and can forgive rough edges and a smaller scope.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Darksiders 3
Fury's whip changes everything. It is your main weapon, your grapple, your crowd control, and your panic button, and because the dodge-counter (Arcane Counter) rewards a perfectly timed evade with a free burst of damage, you stop mashing and start reading enemies almost immediately. Swap into a Hollow form and the whip is joined by flame, ice, force or storm variants that double as traversal tools, so exploration and combat share the same vocabulary. The level design is one big interconnected world rather than open sprawl, and backtracking with a new Hollow to reach a shortcut you spotted an hour earlier is where it feels best. What drags is the roughness around the edges. Enemy hit reactions are inconsistent, the camera struggles in tight rooms, and the deliberate stamina-free-but-punishing rhythm means cheap deaths land more often than they should. It is also shorter and smaller in scope than Darksiders 2, which will disappoint anyone expecting more loot and more sprawl. Take it as a lean action game with a great whip and a good sense of place, not as a series triumph.
