Darksiders III The Crucible
A barebones roguelike gauntlet bolted onto Darksiders III that mistakes difficulty spikes for depth.
GamerScout Verdict
A mechanical competency masquerading as content. Completionists only.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Darksiders III The Crucible
The Crucible is a stripped-down arena mode where you fight waves of enemies from the main game for increasingly thin rewards. It's mechanically sound, hit-detection works, Fury's whip combos still feel responsive, but the design philosophy boils down to "survive or restart." There's no build synergy, no progression that matters, no narrative reason to care. You're grinding damage numbers against a timer, and the difficulty curve isn't tuned; it's just chaotic, spiking from manageable to "your only option is frame-perfect dodging" without warning. If you're a Darksiders completionist starving for more combat, you'll squeeze a few hours out of this. Everyone else should skip it.
