I've seen a lot of snake games, and Blocky Snake doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. You move a growing block-based serpent around a grid, eat targets, and rack up points before inevitable collision. The arcade framing is accurate: this is pure scoring loop, no story, no unlocks, no meta-progression. It's lean and functional. There's nothing here that justifies a purchase unless you're hunting a specific nostalgia hit or need a 5-minute brain-off distraction. The visuals are aggressively minimal, controls are fine, and it does exactly what the tin says. Not broken, not clever, just present.
