Air Strike strips away campaign narratives and multiplayer lobbies to focus on one thing: you versus AI pilots in open-arena dogfights. The flight model rewards stick discipline over arcade reflexes, which means time spent learning throttle management and energy states actually matters. No tutorial softening the blow, no progression tiers to grind through. The downside is obvious: presentation is rough, the pilot AI has obvious gaps, and there's barely a game loop to speak of. You're not building loadouts or climbing a ranked ladder. What you get is a technical flying sandbox with depth for sim enthusiasts willing to read the manual and tweak control configs.
