The controls feel tight through the Xbox pad, and the AI scales reasonably well across difficulty settings. Presentation is clean: original arcade art, authentic sound, and that satisfying pixel-perfect sprite work that modern 3D fighters can't replicate. The catch: this is a 27-year-old game. If you're chasing modern balance patches or online rollback netcode, you won't find either. You're buying history and execution, not innovation.
