About ACA NEOGEO THE KING OF FIGHTERS '94 (Xbox One)
I went in expecting a museum piece, and King of Fighters '94 mostly lives up to that. This is the game that nailed the three-on-three tag team format before Marvel vs. Capcom existed, with a roster built around national fighting teams. The sprites are gorgeous for 1994, animation is snappy, and combos reward precision without demanding frame-perfect execution. The arcade feel translates cleanly to pad control here. The trade-off is that it's genuinely old. No tutorials, no rollback netplay, and the AI difficulty spikes hard once you move past easy. If you're chasing nostalgia or hunting the roots of team-based fighters, this port nails the job. Everyone else should probably start with a newer entry.
