ACA NEOGEO METAL SLUG (Xbox One)

I've always respected Metal Slug for doing one thing perfectly: pure, unforgiving arcade shooting. This HAMSTER port delivers the 1996 original as-is, 2D run-and-gun where you sprint across alien-infested wastelands, grab power-ups, and spray bullets until the game swats you down. No checkpoints, no mercy modes, just you versus increasingly absurd enemy waves. The pixel art holds up stupidly well, and the score is still a banger. But here's the catch: Metal Slug is a quarter-eater designed to kill you repeatedly and extract payment. If you're chasing a chill experience, this isn't it. If you love arcade difficulty and want to grind toward 1CC (one-credit clear) on modern hardware, this is the real deal. The emulation is solid, controls are tight, and the online leaderboards keep the competitiveness alive for people who care.
