GamerScout Verdict
For budget-action hunters curious about trading-card FPS hybrids; rough but sincere attempt at genre-blending.

About Z.I.O.N.
Z.I.O.N. is a first-person shooter that tries to blend post-apocalyptic action with a trading-card system, which sounds wild on paper. You're fighting off robotic creatures as a Z.I.O.N. agent, and the card mechanics supposedly feed into loadout variety and replayability. The bones are there for something interesting, but the execution feels rough around the edges, clunky gunplay, thin narrative scaffolding, and a progression system that doesn't quite justify replaying the same sparse environments. This is a game for players who are curious about experimental genre-mixing and don't mind rough production values. If you go in expecting a polished FPS, you'll bounce off fast. But if you're hunting for weird indie action with a twist and a low barrier to entry, it's worth a shot on a sale. Just don't expect it to stick around.
