GamerScout Verdict
For retro FPS enthusiasts willing to tolerate rough edges and mechanical friction in exchange for ambitious genre-blending.

About Project Pulsation
Project Pulsation wants to be a lot of things at once: a first-person shooter, a horror game, a stealth experience, and apparently a card-collecting meta-game. The pitch is solid, infiltrate a space station, avoid or fight creatures and turrets, grab the artifact, escape. The problem is the execution feels scattered. Stealth systems don't gel with combat encounters designed for gunplay, and the horror atmosphere gets muddled by clunky AI and dated visuals that undercut tension. The trading-card mechanic is a weird artifact from an era when devs thought progression timers belonged everywhere. It's a game that's clearly the result of ambition exceeding resources. If you're after a janky early-Access-feeling sci-fi romp from the mid-2010s with zero polish, there's something oddly charming here. Everyone else should look elsewhere.
