About WWE 2K22 Season Pass (DLC)
This is the Season Pass for WWE 2K22, which means it is purely additive content for people who already own the base game and want the full roster picture. Before you swipe, know what you are buying: five post-launch character packs rolled up together, plus a MyRISE Mega-Boost that hands you 200 extra Attribute Points on career start, and a Supercharger that unlocks all base-game WWE Legends immediately without grinding. The five packs cover a pretty wide spread of eras and tastes. The Banzai Pack brings Yokozuna, Umaga, Rikishi, Omos, Kacy Catanzaro, and Franky Monet. The Most Wanted Pack adds Cactus Jack, Vader, The Boogeyman, Ilja Dragunov, and Indi Hartwell. Stand Back slots in The Hurricane, Stacy Keibler, A-Kid, and Wes Lee. Clowning Around delivers Doink the Clown, The British Bulldog, Booker T, Doudrop, Rick Boogs, and Ronda Rousey. The Whole Dam Pack closes things out with RVD, LA Knight, Xia Li, Commander Azeez, Sarray, Logan Paul, and Machine Gun Kelly. Each character ships with a MyFACTION card, so they feed directly into the collectible-card faction mode as well as standard exhibition and MyRISE use. Whether the Season Pass is worth it depends almost entirely on how much mileage you are getting from the base game. WWE 2K22 itself came back in solid shape after the 2K20 disaster: the revamped combo system chains light and heavy strikes into per-superstar move sequences, the new Block and Dodge mechanics make one-on-one matches feel snappier, and multi-person matches like Fatal 4-Ways and Royal Rumbles are still the messiest part of the experience thanks to a targeting system that regularly locks onto the wrong opponent. If you are already deep in MyRISE building a custom superstar or running MyGM booking shows across Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and NXT UK, the extra characters genuinely expand what you can do. The MyRISE Mega-Boost is a convenience item that mostly benefits players who want to skip early attribute grinding, so treat it as a nice-to-have rather than a reason to buy in. For couch play, the DLC additions are the most fun when you just want to throw a random cluster of legends and oddballs into an exhibition match. Sticking Doink the Clown against Logan Paul in a steel cage while your mates argue over who picks Vader is exactly the kind of chaotic fun that makes this pass easy to recommend for group sessions. The celebrity additions (Logan Paul, MGK) play well enough in-ring, though they are clearly more novelty than depth. On the technical side, online play in 2K22 had noted server stability complaints at launch, so if online MyFACTION events are your main draw, manage expectations accordingly. The Season Pass requires the base game, and none of the DLC characters change how the underlying mechanics work, which means the targeting frustrations and occasional input lag that reviewers flagged carry over regardless of which pack you install. Bottom line: if you already put real time into WWE 2K22 and want more roster variety across MyRISE, MyFACTION, Universe Mode, and exhibition, the Season Pass is a logical extension. If you are still on the fence about the base game, sort that out first. Riley, Scout Team
