Four superstars, five cosmetics, and a Brock Lesnar who has been absent from WWE games since 2K24 got messy - this pack earns its slot if Cena's career matters to you, but know exactly what you're paying for.

I'll be straight with you: this is a DLC pack review, not a base game review, and that context matters a lot here. WWE 2K25 itself is a genuinely solid wrestling sim - the in-ring feel is tighter than it has been in years, chain wrestling is back after a multi-entry absence, Bloodline Rules matches let you trigger run-ins for chaotic 4v4 brawls, and the roster sits north of 300 superstars. The base game is a good time, particularly with people in the room or online. The Farewell Tour Edition Pack drops on top of that foundation with four playable superstars and five cosmetic T-shirts, and your interest level is going to track almost perfectly with how much you care about John Cena's retirement. The centerpiece is two Cena variants that serve as career bookends: the WrestleMania 41 version capturing him at the end of the road, and the Dr. of Thuganomics throwback from 2003 - the chain, the Timberlands, the early-era moveset. If you ran through the Attitude and early 2000s era as a fan, that Thuganomics model alone is going to do something to you. The legitimate surprise, though, is Brock Lesnar. He was pulled from WWE 2K24 late in development due to legal complications, so his return here as a fully playable superstar with a distinct long-hair cowboy look is the pack's biggest practical value add for anyone who plays online or loves stacking cards in MyFaction. Ron Cena rounds out the roster - R-Truth's Cena-loving alter ego from Saturday Night's Main Event, complete with red tee and a Cena-inspired moveset. It is goofy, it is exactly the kind of thing this franchise does well, and it works. The five Farewell Tour T-shirt cosmetics are what they are. If The Island mode is part of your rotation - and given how the community has pushed back on its pay-to-win structure and sluggish quest design, it may not be - they add flavor. For PC players specifically, note that The Island is not available on PC at all, so those cosmetics are essentially dead weight if you are on Steam. One thing worth flagging clearly: this pack is not included in the game's Season Pass. If you bought the Ringside Pass thinking it covered all post-launch content, this one slipped through the side door separately. That is a legitimate gripe worth knowing before checkout. The Steam early user reviews trend negative, which lines up with the general frustration around DLC pricing and the Season Pass situation rather than the quality of the characters themselves. Bottom line for who should care: Cena fans, Lesnar fans who missed him in 2K24, and WWE multiplayer regulars who want fresh roster options for local couch sessions or online PVP will get something real out of this. Everyone else is looking at a cosmetic pack with two bonus fighters attached. Fred, Scout Team
