What this one asks for is patience with the old-school adventure rhythm: clicking every corner of a screen, backtracking to a character you already talked to, and accepting that some puzzle logic runs on fairytale reasoning rather than yours. Give it that, and you get a genuinely warm little storybook. You play a village fool sent to deal with a dragon that has wrecked the kingdom, and the whole thing plays out as a hand-drawn adventure with a soft, illustrated-children's-book look. There is no combat, no fail state to speak of, no timers. It is inventory puzzles, conversations, and a princess to impress. The disappointment is scope. It is short, the difficulty rarely pushes past gentle, and if you have played any classic point-and-click you will see most solutions coming. Single-player only, no reason to return once the credits roll. But it never pretends otherwise, and the art plus the good-versus-evil folk tale carry it. Best treated as an evening with a picture book you happen to click on. Play it with a kid nearby if you have one.
