Tech Blast

I went in expecting another tower-defense clone, but Tech Blast is more hands-on than that. You're a mechanic stranded on an abandoned world, solving environmental puzzles by building and repairing contraptions, then defending them from oversized ore insects. It's a weird genre soup, but the mechanical puzzle layer has real weight - figuring out which gears and springs solve each problem feels satisfying, even if the combat side is pretty basic. The game doesn't overstay its welcome, which works in its favor. This is a weekend project from a small studio, and it knows it. Expect rough edges, limited enemy variety, and puzzle difficulty that plateaus fast. But if you're the type who enjoys tinkering with simple machines and doesn't need AAA polish, there's a scrappy charm here worth checking out.
