Super Mario Bros. Wonder
A 2D platformer that ditches the serious face and goes full creative chaos with power-ups that warp level design itself.
GamerScout Verdict
A confident platformer that genuinely experiments without sacrificing the core formula Mario fans expect.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Super Mario Bros. Wonder
I've spent enough hours with Wonder to know Nintendo threw out the rulebook here. Every few levels introduce a new mechanic that fundamentally changes how you play - one minute you're a drill burrowing through solid ground, the next you're riding a sentient elephant or surfing on a bubble. It's not just collectibles in different places; the levels are architecturally redesigned around each gimmick. The core platforming stays tight and responsive, but the real draw is how confidently it experiments without losing focus. This lands best if you want Mario that feels genuinely fresh rather than iterative. Solo play is solid, but the co-op multiplayer is where the chaos peaks - helpful and chaotic in equal measure. It's not revolutionary, but it's the opposite of stale, and that counts for something in a series this old.
