Sleengster

I went in expecting nothing and got exactly that, but with personality. Sleengster is a casual action title that doesn't pretend to be anything it's not: quick fights, straightforward mechanics, and the kind of visual style that screams "made by a small team learning as they go." The core combat loop is snappy enough to keep you engaged for a run or two, and there's something refreshing about a game this unpretentious. The downside is it doesn't do anything particularly memorable, and the rough edges show everywhere. It's the kind of game you boot up on a lazy afternoon, not the one you'll think about next week. If you're chasing polish or depth, move on. If you want low-stakes fun without hype or expectations, this scratches that itch just fine.
