Torch Cave

I went in expecting a simple dungeon romp, and Torch Cave delivers exactly that without pretense. You're Mr. Bravado (yes, really), tasked with looting an ancient artifact from a cave system that's actively trying to kill you. The hook is straightforward: grab treasure, navigate hazards, escape alive. There's no story bloat, no dialogue trees, just the core loop of exploration and survival. What works is the tension between greed and self-preservation. Deeper caves mean better loot, but the longer you stay, the closer you get to getting trapped. Traps are simple but effective, and the pacing keeps you moving. Don't expect AAA production values or intricate puzzle design, though. This is indie-lean, sometimes janky, and clearly made on a shoestring. If you want a quick, low-stakes adventure that doesn't waste your time, Torch Cave scratches that itch.
