Rayman Legends
A 2D platformer that proves Ubisoft can make pure joy when it stops overthinking itself. Hand-drawn, bursting with personality, and genuinely fun to replay.
GamerScout Verdict
Delightful platformer for anyone who wants solid level design and co-op fun without pretension.

About Rayman Legends
I spent hours with Rayman Legends expecting a competent platformer. What I got was something that swings between inspired level design and playful experimentation without apology. The core gameplay is tight: you run, jump, and bash through colorful worlds with snappy controls that feel responsive enough to make precision sections rewarding rather than punishing. What makes it stick, though, is the personality. Levels theme themselves around everything from rhythm-based challenges to gravity flips, and the art direction is consistently charming without being saccharine. The game isn't groundbreaking. It leans on familiar platformer tropes, and some levels feel like filler padding out the runtime. But what works here works really well, and the multiplayer chaos keeps things feeling fresh on a second run. If you want a platformer that's technically solid and actually fun to play, this delivers. If you're chasing innovation or Souls-hard difficulty, look elsewhere.
