GamerScout Verdict
Worthwhile for neon-loving indie fans who prize style over substance, but don't expect mechanical depth.

About Neon Warrior
I went in expecting a stylish action romp and found a game trading on its visual premise harder than its gameplay. Neon Warrior is short, lean, and entirely built around navigating a fluorescent world with puzzle-solving and light combat mechanics. The neon aesthetic is genuinely eye-catching, that's the draw here, and it delivers on that front. The catch is that everything else feels thin. Combat lacks punch, puzzles don't demand much, and there's no hook strong enough to justify replay. It's the kind of game you finish in an afternoon and immediately forget, which is fine if you're looking for a quick visual palette cleanser or chasing completion on ultra-budget titles. Otherwise, there are stronger action-adventures in the same price tier that'll stick with you longer.
