About Jungle Resistance
I went in expecting Kingdom Rush with isometric perspective and meaningful tower specialization paths. What I found was a stripped-down tower defense that hits the mechanical notes but feels unfinished. The branching upgrade system has potential - picking between tower evolution trees should force real build decisions - but the AI rarely tests your choices, and most runs play out the same way once you identify the dominant build. The presentation is functional but forgettable. Enemy pathfinding is predictable, towers lack the snappy feedback that makes tower defense satisfying, and there's no compelling reason to replay past learning the optimal strategy once. If you want branching tower mechanics, Kingdom Rush Vengeance does this better. Jungle Resistance feels like a proof-of-concept that needed another six months in the oven.
