I approached Jane's Realty expecting a tycoon sim with actual economic systems. Instead, I found a stripped-down property management loop where you zone plots, collect rent, and watch numbers climb. The interface is functional but bare-bones; there's no traffic simulation, no zoning conflict mechanics, no city planning puzzle to solve. It's closer to an idle clicker with a city-building skin than a strategy game. Worth your time only if you want something to tick over in the background while you do other work. There's no campaign structure, no failure states, and no late-game progression hooks to sink teeth into. The math is simple enough that a spreadsheet would serve you better. Casual players who enjoy watching their neighborhood grow without friction will find it harmless. Anyone looking for decision-making depth or replayability should look elsewhere.
