Fuga 2 asks for patience before it gives you anything: a slow-burn tank RPG where every turn is a resource ledger, child crew members rotate between three gun slots, and the Soul Cannon mechanic will demand you sacrifice a party member for a guaranteed kill. That base game earns its 86 and its Very Positive standing. This upgrade pack, though, is a different question. It is the standard-edition-to-deluxe delta: soundtrack, art and supplementary material rather than new chapters, new units, or new systems. Nothing here changes a single intermission decision or shifts one damage number. So the maths is simple. If you have already run the affection events, juggled the intermission repairs, and want CyberConnect2's score on your drive, this is a fair top-up. If you are still deciding whether the base game clicks, buy standard, play four hours, then come back. Buying the pack first is spending on shelf-filler before you know you want the shelf.
