Compare Fenix Rage prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Developed by Green Lava Studios. Published by Reverb Triple XP. Released on 9/24/2014. Available on PC. Genres: Action, Adventure, Indie. Metacritic score: 75/100.

A dash-platformer built for people who want to fail the same jump 200 times and mean it. Everyone else will bounce off the first boss.

The moment it clicked for me was a room where a single wrong dash sends you into a spike wall you cannot see until you are already inside it. I died maybe forty times. The respawn is instant, no fade, no load, and that instant respawn is the whole design thesis: death costs nothing but the second it takes to think again. Fenix Rage hands you an infinite air dash and infinite jumps, then builds every screen around the assumption that you will abuse both. The pixel art is bright and chunky in a Saturday-morning way, which cuts the cruelty nicely, and the levels are short enough that failure never feels like lost progress. Where it stumbles is personality. The bosses are pattern-memorization slogs that break the flow-state rhythm the platforming builds so carefully, and the story framing is thin enough that you will stop reading it. The controller is not optional. But if you chase leaderboard times and want a game that respects your reflexes more than your patience, the 200-plus rooms here are honest work. Kai, Scout Team

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
