Fallout 76: Atlantic City Deluxe
A standalone Atlantic City expansion that splits Fallout 76 players into two camps: those who wanted more story missions, and those frustrated by another paid region pass.
GamerScout Verdict
For existing Fallout 76 players seeking story substance; newcomers should sample the base game first.

About Fallout 76: Atlantic City Deluxe
I approached Atlantic City expecting Fallout 76's usual formula of public events and photo-mode tourism, but what caught me off guard was how much narrative weight Bethesda packed into this 2023 expansion. You're hunting down pre-war vault tech secrets across a decaying boardwalk, which gives the wasteland exploration actual stakes beyond loot-hauling. The Deluxe edition bundles cosmetics and a battle pass, standard for live-service stuff. That said, this isn't a campaign expansion in the traditional sense. If you've already burned out on Fallout 76's repetitive public events and server lag, Atlantic City won't fix the core loop problems. Solo players will feel the co-op focus hard, and the story missions are competent but lean, not Obsidian-tier writing. Worth grabbing if you're already knee-deep in the base game and want a reason to log back in; skip it if you were hoping for a reason to start fresh.
