Fallout 76: Gone Fission Deluxe Edition
Fallout 76's Gone Fission expansion adds a new main questline and nuclear-themed endgame content, but you'll need to tolerate the base game's always-online structure to enjoy it.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth a return trip for committed Fallout 76 players seeking fresh content; skip if the always-online premise already turned you away.

About Fallout 76: Gone Fission Deluxe Edition
I went in expecting the worst from a multiplayer Fallout, but Gone Fission actually gives the wasteland something worth sticking around for. The expansion introduces a solid narrative arc around nuclear research facilities and new weapon/armor sets tied to radiation themes. If you've already made peace with Fallout 76's always-online reality and don't mind other players wandering your world, the fresh questline and public events have enough meat to justify the time investment. The catch is the same one that's always plagued 76: server lag, server stability, and the friction of playing a Fallout game designed by committee. Gone Fission doesn't fix those foundational issues, but it does give solo-focused players more to chase than before. Approach this as a live-service update packaged as a premium edition, not as a full Fallout experience. If the base game already had you, this justifies another month. If you've avoided 76 entirely, this expansion won't be your reason to start.
