Euro Truck Simulator
A first-generation trucking sim that lives or dies on the drive itself. Thin on content, oddly calming if a long motorway haul in cab view sounds like a good evening.
GamerScout Verdict
For players who want the meditative haul itself; anyone after a deep trucking economy should start with the sequels instead.
Compare Prices(4 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Euro Truck Simulator
The whole game hangs on one decision: you drive every kilometre of the route yourself, in cab view, from depot to drop-off. That single mechanic reshapes everything around it. Speed limits stop being suggestions once a fine eats the margin on a load, lane discipline matters because a trailer does not pivot like a car, and the haul across a compressed map of European cities settles into a quiet rhythm of mirrors, gear changes and motorway signage. Cargo contracts, fuel stops and slow garage upgrades are the loop wrapped around the driving. It shows its age everywhere else. The map is thin, most cities amount to a few roads and a depot, traffic behaves simply, and the career loop never gets far past take a job, buy a better truck, take a longer one. What still works is the drive itself, and the odd calm of a two hour delivery. Come for that, not for content.
