About DIG IT! - A Digger Simulator
I went in expecting another glossy construction game with cinematics. Instead, DIG IT! is refreshingly lean: you get a digger, you get jobs, you operate the bucket. The appeal is tactile and specific - if you've ever wanted to practice precision digging without the bloat of a triple-A title, this delivers exactly that. Tasks range from city demolition to terrain shaping, and the core loop of accepting contracts and grinding cash is honest work. The trade-off is obvious. There's no career progression, no story beats, no cosmetics or prestige systems. You're essentially paying for a digging sandbox. That's fine if sandbox operation is what you want. It's not fine if you need narrative hooks or social features to stay engaged. For sim enthusiasts who just want to work machinery and watch dirt move, it's efficient. For everyone else, it'll feel thin in an hour.
