I went in expecting a casual duck-hunting arcade romp. Instead, Hunting Unlimited 2 leans into wind speed, bullet drop, and animal behavior, mechanics that reward patience over twitch reflexes. The free hunt mode and user-created mission editor show ambition, and the ballistics modeling is genuinely solid for the price tier. Problem: the presentation feels dated even for 2020, animations lack polish, and there's not enough variety in environments or prey types to sustain long sessions. The bullet camera gimmick is novelty that wears thin. If you're a hunting enthusiast or a sim purist who owns every niche title on Steam, the ballistics framework and mod potential might scratch an itch.
