Diablo IV

I've sunk time into Diablo IV, and there's a genuinely fun dungeon crawler underneath the season pass layers. Five character classes, skill trees that let you customize builds in meaningful ways, and dungeons packed with loot scratches the itch if you loved Diablo III or Path of Exile. The campaign is straightforward but engaging, and endgame activities give you reasons to keep hunting better gear. The friction point isn't the gameplay - it's the monetization. Cosmetics, battle passes, and seasonal content feel designed to nudge you toward spending beyond the base game, which is standard for Blizzard but worth knowing upfront. If you're purely chasing that addictive loot loop and can tune out the cosmetic shop, Diablo IV delivers. If live-service mechanics make your skin crawl, maybe wait for a deeper sale or skip entirely.
