About Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection
I'm treating this as a collection review rather than rehashing what made the base Diablo IV work. If you haven't played the original, you're getting a complete action-RPG with five classes, seasonal content, and a dark gothic campaign that delivers on the demon-slaying fantasy. The Vessel of Hatred expansion adds a new class and region, while Lord of Hatred expands the endgame further. On paper, bundling everything together is convenient for new players coming to Xbox who don't want to piece together DLC separately. The trade-off: you're paying a premium for a package deal on a game that's been live-serviced and tweaked since 2023. If you're already knee-deep in Diablo IV, this collection doesn't offer much new. If you're fresh to the franchise and ready to commit to seasonal grind and itemization spreadsheets, this is the complete entry point. Alex, Scout Team
