GamerScout Verdict
For indie action fans with patience for rough edges and a taste for grimdark storytelling, not for anyone expecting polished AAA production values.

About Devils Share
I went in expecting a throwback action game with some horror atmosphere, and Devils Share delivers that much - you're Victor Locke, a merc sent to a plagued town to figure out what's going wrong. The core loop of exploring, fighting demons, and uncovering the mystery is straightforward enough, and the grimdark setting has personality. The problem is execution. Combat feels clunky, environments are sparse, and the story drags in places where it should hook you. This is peak mid-2010s indie action: ambitious scope, limited budget, and the rough edges show everywhere. If you're the type who can appreciate earnest game-making even when the polish isn't there, and you've got low expectations for pacing and combat responsiveness, there's a decent 6-8 hour mystery here. Otherwise, skip it.
