Krog Wars

I'm going to be straight with you: Krog Wars is a budget action game from 2016 that feels like it was released half-finished. The pitch is solid enough - a retro shooter with both top-down 2D and 3D perspectives, letting you switch between classic arcade simplicity and something with a bit more spatial complexity. In theory, that variety could have been interesting. In practice, the execution is clunky. Controls feel unresponsive, the visuals are dated even for the era, and there's no real progression or hook to keep you playing past the first few waves. If you're chasing obscure indie oddities or want to see what Digital Homicide was doing in their early days, you might find five minutes of curiosity value. Everyone else should skip this one.
