DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Season Pass 2 (DLC)
Seventy-two costumes, twelve BGM tracks, and a playable fighter bundled into one pass - useful if you want Momiji, tedious if you only want two specific outfits.

About DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Season Pass 2 (DLC)
I'll be straight with you: Season Pass 2 for DEAD OR ALIVE 6 is almost entirely cosmetic, and whether it earns its price depends entirely on how invested you are in dressing your roster. The headline addition is Momiji, the series veteran from Ninja Gaiden who slots into DOA6's 3D strike-and-counter system as a naginata-wielding fighter with her own debut costume set. She is the only substantive gameplay addition here. Everything else is wardrobe. The bulk of the pass is three costume batches: the Seaside Eden set (26 outfits with a summery theme), the Summer Breeze Collection (15 costumes), and the Morphing Ninja set (26 costumes themed around Momiji's ninja aesthetic). Round that out with the Vacation to Paradise BGM pack of 12 tracks and two bonus exclusives for Marie Rose and Honoka, and you have a tidy bundle if you were planning to buy most of this content piece by piece anyway. The math only works in your favour if you wanted the majority of what is in the box. If you are chasing one specific outfit or just Momiji as a character, buying individual items makes more sense, and the official store makes that option available. The base game itself is a competent 3D fighter. DOA6 runs on the triangle system of strikes, throws, and holds that the series has always centred on, with a Break Gauge mechanic added to generate offensive bursts and Fatal Rush combos accessible even to newcomers. Multi-tiered stages add environmental hazards that can swing rounds. At its core it rewards timing and read-heavy play over button mashing, which gives it some depth worth investing in. Season Pass 2 does nothing to change any of that - it is purely surface-level content sitting on top of a fighting engine that still holds up for casual and competitive sessions alike. The community pushback toward the DOA6 DLC model as a whole is well-documented, and it carries weight. Koei Tecmo's approach across multiple season passes meant that completing the cosmetic catalogue required significant spending across several passes, with individual costume packs also sold separately on top. That context matters when evaluating Season Pass 2 in isolation. It is not a bad value proposition compared to buying each set on its own, but within the broader DOA6 DLC ecosystem it is one slice of a very expensive pie. If you are a dedicated DOA6 player who runs Momiji and wants her ninja wardrobe plus the Eden beach looks, this pass covers that efficiently. If you are a newcomer figuring out whether to invest, sort out the base game first. Alex, Scout Team
