DARK SOULS II Crown of the Old Iron King
Two hours of ambush corridors and iron statue mobs guarding some of DS2's sharpest boss fights. Push past the crowd control tax and Fume Knight is waiting.
GamerScout Verdict
Skip it on a first run, but veterans who want two of DS2's best boss duels should push through the mob spam.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About DARK SOULS II Crown of the Old Iron King
The first hour of Brume Tower is a mob-density stress test, and it will make you question whether the DLC respects your time. Narrow ledges packed with iron warriors, ash crawlers that stagger-lock you into a pit, and ballista traps that exist purely to punish greed. My honest read: the front half leans on quantity rather than the elegant single-enemy setpieces FromSoftware does best, and if you bounce off there, I understand. But the tower's vertical structure pays off once you start unlocking the mechanisms and dropping through floors you cleared from the other side, and the boss design at the back end is the real reward. Fume Knight is the argument for the whole thing. A two-phase duel that reads your spacing, punishes panic rolls, and rewards anyone who committed to a stamina-honest build past hour 40. Sir Alonne is the other highlight, and both hold up against anything in the base game. Bring a co-op summon if the crowds wear you down, or take it to the arena afterward. Not the DLC I'd hand a Souls newcomer, but for a second playthrough it's the sharpest hostile real estate in Drangleic.
